The printing and dyeing industry is a major discharger of industrial wastewater. Printing and dyeing wastewater has the characteristics of large water volume, high content of organic pollutants, deep color, large alkalinity, large changes in water quality, and excessive ammonia nitrogen. It is difficult to treat industrial wastewater. Therefore, currently sewage treatment plants are looking for economical and efficient methods to remove ammonia nitrogen and professional wastewater treatment systems. The following will briefly introduce three methods of removing ammonia nitrogen in sewage treatment.
1. Biological nitrogen removal method
There are many processes for biological nitrogen removal, usually AO, AAO, UCT processes, as well as biofilm, biofilter and oxidation ditch. Each process includes an anaerobic section and an aerobic section. The AO process mainly achieves the effect of denitrification through anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic alternate operations. Because filamentous bacteria cannot proliferate in large quantities, sludge expansion generally does not occur, and the SVI value is generally less than 100. There is no need to dosing during operation, but continuous stirring is required in the anaerobic and hypoxic section to increase the dissolved oxygen, reduce the residence time, and prevent the sludge from releasing a large amount of phosphorus. It has the characteristics of low operating cost, but it is difficult to further improve the denitrification effect. Use a high-quality wastewater treatment system to get twice the result with half the effort.
2. Membrane treatment method
The membrane treatment method uses some materials with separation function to separate the ammonia nitrogen wastewater from the absorption liquid, adjusts the pH value of the wastewater, so that NH 4 + is converted into ammonia nitrogen, and uses the difference in ion concentration on both sides of the membrane as the driving force. The small molecule NH 3 is transferred from the high-concentration wastewater to the low-concentration absorption solution, thereby reducing the ammonia nitrogen concentration in the wastewater. The absorption liquid is usually sulfuric acid solution, and the NH 3 molecules transferred to the absorption liquid react with H 2 SO 4 to produce (NH 4) 2 SO 4 for recovery treatment. When compared with other methods, its running cost and expenses are relatively high, so it is only used on a small scale now. 3. Ammonia nitrogen remover
Adding ammonia nitrogen remover, it is suitable for the treatment of wastewater ammonia nitrogen exceeding the standard in various industries, without changing the original process, can be directly added, and the operation is simple and convenient. The agent mainly achieves the removal effect by forming nitrogen with free ammonia and ammonium ions. The combined use of wastewater treatment system can effectively remove ammonia nitrogen in sewage.
